Ecole Communautaire Roche d’Horebe, Morne Michel
On the same hike up to the Morne Michel school of St. Jean, this school in the community of Roche d’Horebe is held beneath an unstable wooden structure. Morning mist descends upon the school in the mornings, radios playing both Haitian and Dominican Republic channels, there are intermittent images of students weaving in and out and taking a drink from the water tower that stands as a guardian nearby. You can find some classes held outside for morning circle and reading time.
