The only school in the Summits network not in the Central Plateau, Dorval is located outside of Saint-Marc in the Artibonite Department, and had been functioning for years inside a church and in a wooden structure beneath a grove of trees. In 2020, thanks to the generous support of the Greenwich First Presbytarian Church and our partner, Adaptiv, Dorval students are now going to a school in a brand new earthquake-resistant construction equipped with a solar-powered electric system. The new building houses students from kindergarten to 6th grade, the administrative team, and features a fun playground; every facet of Dorval is now open on strong and steady learning opportunities for students.
